By automatically collecting and analyzing network leakage data, the LAW application allows operators to find and fix leaks quickly, minimize technician work time, rapidly assess the leakage status of networks, and measure the effectiveness of leak maintenance efforts.
Together with the Seeker GPS management system, the LAW application collects leak location data, plots the data, and marks the origin of the leak as a pin on a map. The LAW application then automatically assigns and emails repair work orders to the responsible technicians.
Through integration with VIAVI's XPERTrak system, leakage data can be cross-referenced with proactive network maintenance (PNM) and quality of experience (QoE) data to speed up the remote localization of potential problems and ensure that those affecting subscriber QoE are addressed first.
The LAW application is offered primarily as a hosted solution with the lowest total cost of ownership, ensuring that the server is always kept up to date with the latest version. Standalone server software licenses are also available for use on customer-owned IT infrastructure.
